The GoLo

The GoLo is a unique cargobike platform that is as versatile as it is practical. It combines comfort with cargo capacity and practicality, making it ideal for day to day operations.

One of the unique aspects is the low cargo area between the wheels, making the GoLo very stable but also easy to load and unload. Especially with the optional innovative kneeling system which lowers the cargo area  making it possible to drive in a pallet truck, though the applications are endless.

Another unique option is the linear hybrid drive system, removing the chains and gearing system and replacing it with just a generator at the crank and motors in the rear hubs, reducing wear and maintenance significantly while providing a smoother ride.

Extremely comfortable

The driver area is designed to be as comfortable and ergonomic as possible. The firm mesh shaped seat provides support, comfort and ventilation while preventing the saddle sore and back ache that is quite common with prolonged conventional cycling positions. The seat is steplessly adjustable with the flick of a lever making it easy to switch riders. 

The driver is positioned in front of the cargo at the approximate eye height of other road users for good vision and visibility. The underseat handlebars ensure a relaxed rider position and makes it quick and easy to get in and out of the GoLo.

Agile and stable

The GoLo protects you and your cargo from any bump in the road. With four wheels and independent suspension it is as good as it gets in the cargobike market! The stability is even more enhanced by the low center of gravity. Keeping it level in the corners, even with softer suspension and moderate width.

But that’s not all that’s needed for a pleasant riding experience. The steering geometry is designed to be very light at any speed and any load while always remaining stable. Combined with a turn radius of just 2.5m making it very maneuverable in tight and crowded spaces. The linear hybrid option even adds a reverse to the GoLo!

Build To Last

Divisible Steel Frame

Although aluminium could be slightly lighter, steel is much stronger and less prone to fatigue in the long run. The frame is built in the Netherlands and is divisible into the front and rear frame for easy shipping and transportation.

Fiberglass Reinforced Wheels

Due to the high loads, spokes on conventional cargo bikes need to be tightened regularly. That’s why the GoLo uses Alligt® composite wheels designed for high loads in combination with Schwalbe® Pick-Up cargo tires.

Linear Hybrid Driveline

Our linear hybrid driveline is a completely maintenance free alternative to conventional chained bicycles. It uses a Bike2® generator at the cranks and two Grinn® hub motors in the rear wheels, only connected with an electrical system.

Chained driveline

Our standard driveline only uses high quality components.
From the reliable bafang® mid motor through the tried and tested Enviolo® Cargo Automatiq to the rear Samagaga® differential providing balanced two wheel drive.

Infinite range

We provide suitable batteries for any use case, from a single Bafang® battery up to a double Kumpan® Power Pack for a full day of riding. With the option to swap spare batteries on the go the range can be extended to virtually infinite.

Bodywork

The complete GoLo is protected by an aluminium shell which can be easily customized by powder coating, painting, wrapping or keeping it raw with the bare aluminium showing through. The bodywork also protects the driver and pedestrians by providing a buffer.

Compatibility

The GoLo has been designed with compatibility in mind, making it possible to exchange most components for alternatives or updated versions. This way not only the bike is built to last but the concept is here to last as well.

Click-in Mechanism

The cargo area has a click-in mechanism to quickly receive any module, of which our cargo container is the most prominent.
This cargo container is developed with parcel delivery in mind. It has a capacity of 1400 L with an AluShutter® in the main compartment and a large drawer in the bottom. The containers can easily be filled in a distribution facility and loaded or swapped onto the GoLo on location, making it possible to integrate it into an existing distribution chain.

Customization

But even the standard pickup version can be built up and customized to cater any use case. Whether you run a gardening business, deliver parcels, want a mobile barista bar or even a fold-out camper module. Your imagination is our limit!

Even a single GoLo with swappable modules for different uses is possible. You have a catering business and you want to deliver meals during the week and have a mobile food cart for festivals on the weekends? Just swap out your modules and you are good to go!
